How do I return my vehicle?

If you wish to return the vehicle, please login to your account and click the relevant order to initiate a return. Email directions will then be sent to you with the specific instructions. The return policy can be read here. The 14 day return window coincides with the fact that in Alberta, you can use your existing licence plate and vehicle registration on another vehicle for up to 14 days (more information). This allows you to only need to insure your car and not need to go to the registry to get the registration before you are completely confident with your purchase.

 

Why don't you offer financing?

Part of our low cost structure means that we don't maintain a finance department. Banks or Credit Unions are typically able to provide a competitive interest rate and we recommended you work directly with your instituion of choice to secure a personal loan/line of credit.

 

Do you offer test drives?

We do not provide test drives. We go above and beyond on a detailed description of the vehicle condition. Most importantly, we offer an industry leading 14 day returns. This policy not only helps us maintain low overhead costs but also enables us to pass on savings to our customers. It reflects our vision for modern vehicle sales. Why should purchasing vehicles should differ from acquiring any other product online in this day and age?

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

At Chickadee Auto we strive to make the car sales process as headache free as possible. That is why we are one of the few used dealerships that accept credit card payments. In addition we accept Interac e-transfers.

 

Why can't I negotiate?

We offer fixed pricing based on current market conditions. We don't employ dozens of car sales associates who typically are comission based and add complexity to the sales process.
